In-house marketing opportunity for a passionate marketer looking to lead the marketing efforts of a collaborative and agile business that is well respected in the PR and public affairs world.

My client, a well-respected communications agency, is looking for someone to lead their in-house marketing function. This specific individual will drive marketing initiatives for the company, giving the employee plenty of responsibility and ownership. This role will also have a strong brand building element, working on proposing the business properly in the market and bringing this vision to life. Their brand is ambitious, bright, and focused on collaboration and diverse thinking. They are known for their enviable client roster and are regarded as one of most exciting places to work.

The ideal candidate will be someone with generalist marketing experience, and a particular interest in brand building activity. The working environment is lively and the senior leadership team puts a lot of trust in their employees to go above and beyond. Outside of working hours, the business has a strong emphasis on culture and activity across social, charity and community initiatives.

Responsibilities & requirements

Building on marketing positioning and bringing this to life across the business
Manage CRM system and champion this within the agency
Responsible for social channels, and media and photography used, and reporting on website and social channels performance
Writing marketing content (e.g. for events, awards, newsletters, press releases for key business updates)
Managing events, such as networking events, Webinars, dinners, Alumni events
Manage a junior and report into Managing Director
Be a strong project manager with exceptional execution
