Social Account Executive

We are currently working with a leading communications agency who are looking for an Account Executive or Senior Account Executive to join their growing social team to aid in day-to-day management of an exciting and varied range of client accounts. This role would be great for someone who is social media obsessed, ranging from every platform from TikTok to LinkedIn! Writing is also a large part of the job, so attention to detail and applying feedback to sharpen your writing work further is crucial!

Having undergone a rebrand earlier this year, the company has been acquired by the agency of an extremely well-known British entrepreneur who is helping steer the agency. The team on a whole are a group who are close-knit and full of energy, with 25+ of them being based in an amazing office in Soho. Despite their size, they have been landing lots of big client accounts (that you would expect from a larger agency) due to their hard work and innovative thinking. They specialise specifically in disruptive brands, with this being their ethos; some of them including a popular dating app, a mental health app, a stationary business that specialises in personalisation, and an innovative tech brand.

With the team being mid-size, there is always a friendly / family feel within the company. They are very sociable, and love doing activities outside of work together! Training from some of the industry’s leading experts, and training courses, would also be provided at this level’s entry! Salary ranges from £24-£32k.

Responsibilities:

  • Guiding of status reporting (internally and externally)
  • Have an appreciation for varying business objectives, target audiences and brand approaches
  • Making sure all activity goes through the sign off process both for the team and yourself
  • Creation of client report presentations as required and appropriate
  • Assuring an effortless running of your accounts, and making sure processes are maintained in an efficient, adequate, and productive way.

Requirements

  • They would like candidates to have 6 months to 1 year of experience in an agency’s Social team – this could either be as a placement year, internship or a Junior
  • Obsessed about social! – Have a knowledgeable understanding of the different social media channels, and how they can be used advantageously to brands
  • Able to come up with content plans; plus social and influencer strategies
  • Superb writing skills
  • Able to display a proactive approach to everything; ideas are always welcome, actions even more appreciated
  • Great team player, eager to support their team and create the best possible work
