Amandeep Gill – Founding Partner
Specialities: Policy & Public Affairs within the UK, EU and global markets.
Amandeep has over 10 years experience in the recruitment industry specialising in policy and public affairs roles across in-house and agency. He began his career with a FTSE 250 recruitment business and after a successful period building and running multi disciplinary teams at another boutique recruitment consultancy established Melbury Wood in 2019.
He is commended for his knowledge of the industry, as well as his straightforward and honest approach. He enjoys travelling, politics and is Conservative Party member and activist locally. Additionally, he is a Brentford FC season ticket holder and boyhood Liverpool FC supporter which he contends are not mutually exclusive loyalties!
Grant Somerville - Partner & Director

Grant has over 8 years experience in the recruitment industry specialising in corporate, financial and consumer communications across in-house and agency. He traded in his life as a semi professional rugby player to start his career in a boutique recruitment consultancy where he built and ran both the corporate and brand divisions before joining Melbury Wood as a Partner at the start of 2020. Known for his honest, tireless and detailed work ethic, he leaves no stone unturned in his search for top talent
Saher Khalid - Senior Consultant
Specialties: Market research, data, insights , strategy
Saher has 4 years experience in recruitment, specialising in Data & Insights Consulting & Market Research across all sectors. She started off her career in a boutique consultancy straight from university after studying International Relations & joined Melbury Wood in 2021. When she’s not headhunting the best talent for top agencies & companies, Saher enjoys attending Drum & Bass festivals and exploring all the food London has to offer!
Tasmin Khin - Senior Consultant
Specialties: PR, marketing, digital and social, creative
Tasmin has 5 years experience in recruitment, joining the industry straight after completing her History degree. She recruits for all sectors across PR but has specialist understanding of consumer. She has further experience building out Melbury Wood's digital, social and creative offering. Outside of recruitment, Tasmin can often be found panicking about her many plants or planning her next trip abroad. Resident office DJ.
Isobel Muzzell - Researcher
Specialties: consumer PR, corporate PR, financial
Isobel has just started her journey in recruitment after just graduating from UCL with an MA in Comparative Literature, following a undergraduate BA degree from Swansea University in English Literature and American Studies.
Currently living in Brighton, she enjoys spending time at the beach there, taking her dog on long walks in the nearby countryside, and at the weekends exploring new clubs with her friends.

Kiera Aslett - Researcher

Kiera has recently graduated from the University of Birmingham with a degree in Biomedical Science. New to recruitment, Kiera is enjoying working as a researcher in Public Affairs. Kiera loves running with her athletics club, paddle boarding at Hastings beach and listening to music... as long as it's not Ed Sheeran. Also office DJ.
Kawleen Kaur - Researcher

Kawleen joined the world of recruitment with Melbury in 2022 after completing her MSC in Business and Management. She has experience in recruiting for all our sectors, but specialises in Data & Insights. Outside of work, Kawleen can either be found visiting historical locations, planning holidays or holed up watching Netflix.

Bob Qureshi
Bob is recognised for his significant contribution to the Market Research industry and is amongst a select group of individuals elected as a Fellow of the UK Market Research Society. He is passionate about diversity, inclusion and mentoring market researchers from ethnic minority backgrounds and helped found the Colour of Research Community (CORe).
Superbly well connected across many disciplines and helping shape and develop businesses, Bob adds tremendous advisory impact to the growth of our practice areas at Melbury Wood, in particular our Insights and Market Research and consulting teams. In his spare time Bob is very happy entertaining his increasingly growing number of grandchildren.
Gus - Receptionist and Guard Dog
Gus joined Melbury Wood in 2021 and has become a crucial asset to the team. After learning quickly that recruitment wasn't for him, he has adopted the role of Receptionist and Guard Dog (which just involves barking at anyone and everyone). He takes time out of his busy schedule to enjoy head scratches, strokes and walks around Parsons Green.
Simba - Head of People
Simba joined Melbury Wood in 2020 and heads up our people department. Aside from running our HR function, and being completely qualified to do so, his love for play has also led him to plan and run our team socials and CSR initiatives.
