We are working with a specialist consultancy focused on financial services, supporting clients across banking, insurance, fintech, asset management and beyond. We combine deep industry expertise with political insight to deliver tailored public affairs strategies that help our clients engage effectively with policymakers, regulators, and stakeholders.
As a growing firm, we are now looking for an energetic and ambitious Public Affairs Account Director to join our team, take ownership of client accounts, and play a key role in driving new business.

 The Role 

• Lead day-to-day management of key client accounts in the financial services sector.
• Provide high-quality political and regulatory insight, analysis and counsel to clients.
• Design and deliver public affairs strategies and campaigns that support clients’ policy and reputational objectives.
• Produce clear, concise and compelling written materials, including briefings, consultation responses and thought leadership content.
• Support and drive business development, including identifying opportunities, preparing proposals, and contributing to pitches.
• Mentor and guide junior colleagues, supporting their professional growth. 

About You

• Experienced in public affairs, ideally within an agency or consultancy setting.
• Highly knowledgeable about UK political processes, financial services policy, and regulatory landscapes.
• A confident communicator, with excellent writing, presentation and clienthandling skills.
• Strategic and commercially minded, with a proven ability to lead client programmes and spot growth opportunities.
• Collaborative and proactive, thriving in a small, entrepreneurial team environment.
