Our client is a leading independent communications and marketing firm with a focus on financial and professional services. Known for its collaborative, people-first culture, it has been recognized as one of the best places to work, winning the 2024 PR Week Best Place to Work award.

They are currently looking to hire a Senior Account Exec. The SAE plays an important role across accounts, with a range of responsibilities outlined below. They are expected not only to demonstrate exceptional media relations skills but also contribute to managing multiple projects.  Additionally, as emerging leaders and ambassadors of the firm, SAEs should mentor and inspire junior team members and peers.

Responsibilities:

• Understand the media relevant to your clients and how to connect with key contacts
• Come up with creative ideas for media pitches
• Track and report campaign results, and present them to clients
• Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists
• Write high-quality press materials, blog posts, and other content
• Proofread and edit content carefully
• Write clearly and effectively for the right audience and purpose
• Have a strong knowledge of your clients’ industries and competitors
• Be the main point of contact for clients day-to-day
• Provide strategic advice for campaigns
• Spot opportunities to grow existing projects or offer new services to clients

 Requirements

• 3–4 years’ experience in a relevant role
• Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, or a related field
• A strong interest in financial services, professional services, technology and/or B2B communications
